STEM Project: Discover what makes a mechanical/electrical toy work by taking one apart and examining its internal parts. We will practice small hand tool use and basic electronics safety
Materials: Used toys, screw drivers, pliers, scissors
Garden Project: We'll plant different greens, lettuces & onions in pots to grow a Salad Garden at home

STEM Project: In this class we will make fun useful grabbers using simple everyday materials. Learn to measure, cut and assemble a grabber then test its strength using various weights
Materials: Popsicle sticks, brads, markers, rulers, weights
Garden Project: We'll plant herbs in pots for home that will grow into a flavorful Tea Garden

Participants must currently be 5 years or older.
STEM Project: Test your design skills in this class by making a moving car that is powered by rubber bands. Cut, measure and assemble your car then race it against your friend’s designs
Materials: Large popsicle sticks, rubber bands, plastic bottle caps, wooden dowels, hot glue, markers
Garden Project: We'll use perennial herb plants that the bees & birds love to make a Pollinator Garden at home

Participants must currently be 5 years or older.
STEM Project: Learn basic woodworking (measuring, cutting, sanding) while making a machine that can make art prints
Materials: Wood planks, nails, rubber bands, art paper, woodworking tools
Garden Project: Week we'll plant flowers in pots that will give fresh, cut flowers at home for months
Registration for this schedule starts on 02/01/2022 and ends on 05/30/2022
Participants must currently be 5 years or older.
Each day of our Homeschool STEM Series we'll have a different guided activity prepared by Christa Flores, our STEM teacher. Additionally, each week your child will plant a different 'garden' for home and every day we'll cook using fruits and vegetables.
