Description

Monday: 

Garden Project: Build Bamboo Forts & Faerie Houses. 

STEM Project: Make a working kaleidoscope for a fun 3 way reflection of the visible spectrum of light!

Tuesday: 

Garden Project: Raised Beds

STEM Project: Build a working wind gauge! Using the power of the wind and your building skills, design and make a machine that tells you the speed of wind!

Wednesday:

Garden Project: Build a Bench

STEM Project: Build a simple circuit using a battery pack, LED and switch to light up a magical wand you can take home!

Thursday: 

Garden Project: Build a Worm Farm

STEM Project: Make a small self propelled car using mechanical engineering and design!

Friday: 

Garden Project: Build a Vertical Trellis

STEM Project: Use the principles of math, symmetry and linkages to build and test a working grabbing tool!

Description

During Spring Break Garden Camp our theme is STEM immersion while we build a garden! This week we'll be inundated with building things for our new garden while also cooking and crafting every day. If all goes well we'll have bunnies and baby chicks to share all week. Kids will be outdoors all day and play is a priority so we'll be happy garden campers for Spring Break!
